Overview: These ranks are the standard competition ranks for children and teens under the age of 16. Though other schools have various variations to each belt color and some even include a grey belt, we stick with the solid white, yellow, orange and green belts for competition. These ranks are awarded solely based on competition performance and age.
Stripes: Stripes are awarded based on competition performance. Except for white belts, stripes are earned by earning Competition Points. These are earned by placing 1st in competition and by submissions finished in competition. Once 4 stripes are awarded the student is considered under review for promotion to his/her solid belt rank.
